Storee Powell is the social media specialist for the CPD and the Utah Assistive Technology Program. She served as the public relations and marketing specialist for UATP from 2011 to 2016. Storee is autistic and lives with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and several accompanying complications. She prefers identity first language. She works and volunteers as a disability activist with several other organizations.
Storee is a 2010 graduate of Utah State University with a degree in print journalism and Women and Gender Studies. She has experience in public relations as well as broadcast and print reporting. Storee has won multiple awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Utah Broadcasters Association for her reporting. She's also been a reporter for Utah Public Radio covering women's issues, news and social issues.
