Staff Assistant III
Whitney is a Utah State University alumnus with a BA in English literary studies and a minor in psychology. She has worked as a peer writing tutor, a features staff writer, an undergraduate teaching fellow, and a class transcriber for students who are deaf and hard of hearing.
During her undergrad, she was inducted into the English Honor's Society, Sigma Tau Delta. She has had the honor to present original work at multiple symposiums, including the USU English Symposium and the Sigma Tau Delta International Convention.
Whitney loves being involved in advocacy work. Most notably, she served as the president of the USU chapter of I Am That Girl, a non-profit organization that transforms an epidemic of self-doubt into self-love. She has also participated in the V-Day campaign for multiple years to raise money for CAPSA and SAAVI.
Whitney's duties at the Technical Assistance for Excellence in Special Education (TAESE) include proofing documents, collaborating on publications, coordinating travel, and providing office support. She loves knowing her work truly makes a difference to TAESE's clients and the people they serve. When she isn't working, she is most likely with her animals.
