Alex earned her doctorate (2019) from the Human Development and Family Studies Department at Utah State University, with an emphasis in Adult Development and Aging, and earned her Bachelors in Psychology and Gerontology from the University of Montana (2014).
She studies the geographic distribution of resources for various populations (particularly aging populations), and the associated barriers and outcomes of access to resources in rural areas. Alex's role at the CPD includes assisting in grant-writing, identification of funding sources, and research.
Alex is a lifelong dual-resident of Montana and Utah, traveling between the two states frequently to enjoy their many outdoor recreation activities and to visit family & friends.
